BUPA Great Birmingham Run 2012 for Neuro Myelitis Optica

Kevin O Neil was diagnosed with Neuro Myelitis Optica 5 years ago and know just how disabling the condition can be, during several attacks he lost vision in both eyes and was paralysed from the waist down.
Thankfully he has been in good health following his diagnosis. This will be his first run of a half marathon. He is raising money for two charities that do great work to both treat and support patients and their families as well as carry out research into the rare conditions they suffer from.
